The Android app is on Google Play. On iPhone, iPad and computers, BookFrix is a web app you can add to your Home Screen or desktop. One account on all of them, with your books, highlights and place in every one kept in sync.
iPhone & iPad
The web appThere’s no App Store app yet. Add the BookFrix web app to your Home Screen instead: it gets its own icon, opens full screen and reads your downloaded books offline.
- Open book.frix.me in Safari.
- Tap Share. If you don’t see it, tap ••• first.
- Choose Add to Home Screen— you may need to scroll down.
- Tap Add. If there’s an Open as Web App switch, leave it on.
On iOS 16.4 and later, Chrome, Edge and Firefox have Add to Home Screen in their Share menu too.

Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOSBookFrix runs in any modern browser. Install it and it opens in its own window, one click away, even offline.
- Chrome or Edge: the install icon at the right of the address bar, or Install BookFrix in the browser menu
- Safari on a Mac: File → Add to Dock (macOS Sonoma or later)
- Any other browser: just use it in a tab — everything works there too
Questions
Is there an iPhone app on the App Store?
Not yet. On iPhone and iPad, BookFrix is a web app: the same library, reader and sync as the Android app, running in Safari. Added to your Home Screen, it opens full screen and keeps working without a connection.
Do I need a separate account for the app?
No. Sign in with the same Google or Telegram account on every device, and your library, reading position, highlights, bookmarks and statistics are already there.
Does the app cost anything?
No. The Android app and the web app are free, with no ads, no subscription and nothing to unlock.
